More on the KK scarf
I'm over half done with the Buttery Sunshine scarf. I love the wonderful texture of it. The next hurdle will be figuring out how to get it off the loom without dropping any of the stitches.

Double knitted yellow scarf
I worked with the pink long loom tonight trying to make some progress on a double knit scarf I decided to call Buttery Sunshine. I can't believe I have two yellow projects going right now and yellow is not even one of my favorite colors. I have this scarf which is yellow ombre yarn double stranded with plain yellow, and I'm also knitting a sweater with yellow double stranded with a multicolored yarn with some yellow in it. I need to finish the scarf because it's part of a tutorial I wrote and people want to know how to take it off the loom and I don't know how yet because I haven't gotten to the end yet. But I knew if I waited until the end to write the tutorial, I could very well forget how I started the beginning in the first place. At least I remembered how to keep going from where I left off many months ago. I really should finish projects faster so they don't fall between the cracks.

Using a Knifty Knitter Loom tutorial (how-to) Circular Tubular Knitting
I'm learning to make tutorials with my very lame video camera. It's decided to only shoot 4:15 at a time, even though it's supposed to shoot 30. So it was a real challenge getting it together.
First you shoot the footage. Then the movie program breaks even the littlest bit into 4 or 5 bits. Then you have to string them all together, add titles and so on, then you have to re-save it as a whole movie on your computer. Then you have to convert it to yet another format that you can upload to Youtube. Then you put it on Youtube, wait and pray that it won't get rejected because it's too long or whatever reason. So even the simplest little video takes so much time. And I haven't even tried to add music yet.

Knifty Knitter Booklets by Provocraft
I found these great pamplets for a mere .99 each at the Beverly's in San Luis Obispo, CA. I was so thankful because I didn't want to part with $10. for the other knitting loom book they had. If you have the looms you already know the enclosed directions are spotty at best. These booklets are a life saver and cover both circular looms and the long loom series.

Got Loom?
I was at Joanne's Superstore today (in Buena Park, CA) and they do indeed still carry the long loom series and the round loom series. So I guess it's really catching on. Which means you can grab one of those 40% off coupons and save some money on the set if you time it right.
